If there is one beach that defines the Ionian Sea, it is Voutoumi on Antipaxos. Powder-white pebbles, water so clear it looks like glass, and a sense of calm you rarely find on the mainland.

Antipaxos: tiny island, huge reward
Antipaxos sits just south of Paxos and is home to only a handful of residents and vineyards. Its two famous beaches – Voutoumi and Vrika – are regularly ranked among the most beautiful in Greece.
How to get there
There is no ferry port on Antipaxos, so the best way to visit is a boat trip from Parga. The daily cruise leaves Parga Port at 09:30 and includes a long swim stop here, plus the Blue Caves of Paxos.
What to do at Voutoumi
- Swim and snorkel in the shallow turquoise bay
- Walk up to the taverna on the hill for a view over the water
- Relax on the quiet end of the beach away from the crowds
